Grab your favourite book and curl up on one of the period Adirondack chairs on the front porch or switch on the Smart TV and settle into the plush sofa for a Netflix movie night. Turpentine floorboards give the living space. a warm natural feel that is carried throughout the cottage.NOTE The entire house is built from Turpentine so the owners named the house after it- Yanderra, the local indigenous word for turpentine tree. And you will see impressive examples of the tree in both the front and back gardens.
Cooking and Dining:
Light and bright, the modern U shaped kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals for yourself and others.The gleaming stone bench tops add brightness to the space, in keeping with the cottage's casual, beach house style. Pop in your favourite coffee beans and enjoy a fresh smooth coffee from the smeg coffee machine. Better yet bring your coffee outside to soak up the garden and enjoy a peaceful start to your day. The dining table seats 6, and double doors open to the original water tank that now acts as a back deck, providing another unique space for outdoor dining.For the fresh seafood lovers, Mollymook Rick Steins restaurant or Bannisters Rooftop bar and Grill,a must visit.
Outdoor Dining & Entertaining:
Relax and unwind on the front veranda overlooking the golf course. Located just off the kitchen through timber and glass doors, the back deck provides a welcoming space to entertain a few friends, with ample dining and seating space. Simply kick off your shoes, nestle into an easy-chair and let the cool sea breezes soothe your senses.
